Class vs Home

 Class time vs Home Time

As an architecture student you will have lots of homework outside of class. Sometimes the professor will give you in class work time but lots of students will end up leaving early, but I encourage you to use all the in class time you can to get your work done. Because as soon as you get home you will no want to finish that homework.

If you go to the right school you will probably notice that they give you a lot of school spaces to work in the architecture buildings and studios. So you might actually enjoy to work there more than at your apartment or dorm.

Each year of architecture the classes will get harder and the projects will take longer. So keep that in mind when you decide to go home, because you won't end up having a lot of free time outside of those Arch classes.

It can also be easier to work on projects at campus because you may not have all the supplies at home, so being right there where everything you need is at your hand might make things go a bit quicker and more efficient.

However, if you decide you for sure want o do this for your career, it would be a great investment to add a work space or office where you can work on these projects and drawings at your home.
